concert review: San Jose Chamber Orchestra

I attended and reviewed an unexpectedly unusual concert on Sunday. Here, the headline my editors put on it says it all: San Jose Chamber Orchestra Plays Two Works With Three Conductors.

    Agreed. The production would have benefited from super titles because it was super difficult to hear what was being sung/said. Charming staging, costumes and Papagayo/a. First act was somewhat tedious. Maybe 7 out of 10.
